The resin NORESTER 880/2 TA WHITE is thixotropic, pre-accelerated, charged and white.
The resin NORESTER 880/2 TA WHITE does not contain halogen and antimony.
The resin NORESTER 880/2 TA WHITE has very good fibre wetting and impregnation properties.
The resin NORESTER 880/2 TA WHITE decreases styrene emissions during application.

Certificates:
- HL2 R1-R7 (thickness = 4 mm) with GEL COAT 886 according to Norm EN 45545.
- HL1 R1-R7-R17 (thickness = 4 mm) with GEL COAT 199 according to Norm EN 45545.

Hand Lay up
Hand Lay up application is a technique also called Open Mould.
The part is made by applying fabric on the gel coated
mould with a pre-accelerated polyester resin mixed with catalyst.
The resin is applied with rollers, brushes or a spray gun.
A phase of consolidating is then needed, to remove
the air from the laminate, using specific rollers.

The laminate will then have a smooth side (gel coat) and a rough side (fibreglass).
 
Advantages of the method:

     - The cost remains low

     - Allows the manufacturing of rather large parts (boat hull…)

      - Gives the opportunity to use technical fabrics (multi-axial, woven rovings…)
