NORESTER 920

NORESTER 920 is an orthophtalic laminating resin with low styrene emission specially designed for general purpose.
NORESTER 920 is recommended for the production of laminates by hand lay up or spray application.
NORESTER 920 is thixotropic and contains a colour change mechanism to indicate the state of cure.
NORESTER 920 has very good fibre wetting and impregnation properties.

NORESTER 8435 is an ortho DCPD laminating low styrene contain resin specially designed for general purpose.
NORESTER 8435 is recommended for the production of laminates by hand lay up or spray application.
NORESTER 8435 is thixotropic and contains a colour change mechanism to indicate the state of cure.
NORESTER 8435 is also available in a low styrene version "E" with paraffin.

GEL COAT 8120 SPRAY

Product Description:
The GEL COAT 8120 SPRAY is a low styrene content gel coat.
The GEL COAT 8120 SPRAY is a thixotropic and pre accelerated gel coat formulated with isophtalic based resin.
The GEL COAT 8120 SPRAY is recommended for the production of industrial parts but also for small sanitary parts like bathroom sink.

Certificates:
- No proliferation bacteria according to the certification JIS 2801 : 2010 - according to the product reference GEL COAT 8120 SPRAY AB Version -.
- Scratch, abrasion, thermal shock, resistance to chemical agents according to the Norm NF 14688.

Versions:
- Brush version according to the reference GEL COAT 8120 BRUSH.
- Waxed version according to the reference TOP COAT 8120 BRUSH.
- Internal Release Agent according to the reference GD 8120 SPRAY.

Spray up application

The spray-up application is a technical improvement
of the contact method.
It remains an Open Mould application.
The part is made by spraying simultaneously the resin,
the catalyst and the fibrestraight on the gel coated
mould using a spraying machine.
The application can be automated.

The laminate will have a smooth side (gel coat) and a rough side (fibreglass).

Advantages of the method:

- Better productivity than the contact application, more cost effective

- Allows the manufacturing of rather large parts (boat hull…)

- Gives the opportunity to use technical fabrics (multi-axial, woven rovings…)
